BEDS Report

Each year, HCCS files a 'BEDS' report with The New York State Education Department. The BEDS (Basic Educational Data System) report contains current information on student enrollment, professional staff, foreign language instruction, free and reduced-priced lunch, computer resources and library resources.  Information required by NYSED may change from year to year, but the report is submitted annually by November 15th and posted here shortly thereafter.

The Hunter College Environmental Health & Safety Department manages safety testing for the Campus Schools building.  A copy of the current AHERA report is available for review on campus and questions can be directed to the Hunter College EH&S Department.

Middle States Accreditation

Understanding the process by which high levels of student performance are achieved is equally as important as the results themselves. Accreditation serves as an unbiased, third-party validation that an institution meets challenging, but achievable standards of quality, and provides a mechanism for continuous improvement.

Hunter College Campus Schools recent accreditation cycles with the Middle States Association have been in 2011, 2017 and 2024. This dynamic process requires commitment and engagement from the entire community and ultimately assures the public of an organization's integrity. Through the dedication of created committees, we continue to evaluate the quality and continuity of the school’s leadership and governance, condition of school facilities, finances and fiscal stability, effectiveness of student services, health and safety, staffing, and long-range planning.  The most recent accreditation cycle used the Sustaining Excellence Protocol, which has been approved for use again in the current cycle.
