Dylan McE wins the PENN RELAYS MILE with a PB 4:40.82 --No3 in USA!

Few high school girls have had a better first four months than McElhinney.  At the Penn Relays, she won the mile in a U.S. No. 3 and personal-best 4:40.82. McElhinney's time was nearly three seconds faster than her previous best of 4:43.62, which she ran at Nike Indoor Nationals, a race where she earned her first national title.  McElhinney also won the 800m (2:06.88) at NIN.  McElhinney had the U.S. No. 4 time in the 800m and U.S. No. 6 mile time during the indoor season and was a talented cross country runner as seen at the Foot Locker Nationals last year.


Dylan joins HCHS Alumna Nnenna Lynch (Class of 1989; 1st place in the 1500m:4:35.66) as the sole individual HS track champions from the PSAL
