HCHS mourns the loss of musical talent Angela Bofill, HCHS '72

Sharing the sad news that the beautiful singer, Angela Bofill, HCHS Class of 1972, passed away over the weekend after many years battling health issues that ended her critically acclaimed career.  The New York Times calls her "a rare Latin singer to cross over to the R&B charts" with six albums, including ANGIE (1978) and ANGEL OF THE NIGHT (1979) in the Top 40 of Billboard R&B charts and seven Top 40 commercial hit singles.  Known for her three-and-a-half octave range, she is remembered for her jazz and pop love songs.
