Hunter High School participates in Columbia University Model UN
12 HCHS students participated in the Columbia University Model UN conference from Jan 16-20 this year. The conference began with a visit to the Kazakhstan Mission to the United Nations where the group met with three diplomats.

The next several days were spent on campus where our 12 students participated in simulations on a variety of different scenarios. The HCHS team won 4 awards including "Best Delegate" award for junior Danil S. Also wining awards of distinction were sophomores Zadie S. and Kavya B. and senior Miles E-L. Congratulations to the team and thanks to advisor Ms. Jawanda and Ms. Eliasson for their time and dedication.
