HCHS RoHawks in SemiFinals of NYC FIRST Robotics Competition!

The Armory in Washington Heights was full of the sounds of robots all weekend and HCHS's Team 3419 the RoHawks was there to perform!  With a double-autonomous and excellent elevator mechanism, the RoHawks were in 3rd or 4th place throughout Day 1 until a catastrophic breakage took us out of play until repairs could be made.  Even though we missed two matches while under repair, we were selected for playoffs and fought hard to make it through the semifinals.  Amazing work by our drive team, pit crew, programming and scouting teams.  Many thanks to our corporate sponsor,  Alliance Bernstein for providing resources, lab space and our extraordinary mentor, Mr. Adam Salem.  Many thanks to advisor Ms. Ong Ante for all her time, organization prowess, good cheer and support.
